Coperion is looking for an Inside Sales Support person located in Pitman, NJ. As the Inside Sales Support you are responsible for making recommendations to customers for parts required for equipment maintenance and/or equipment problems, either damage or wear related. This requires technical aptitude, familiarly with some engineering principles and design guidelines and the ability to comprehend mechanical and electrical systems.

What you'll do:
* Prepare customer parts quotations required for scheduled maintenance and/or equipment problems, either damage or wear related. This requires technical aptitude, familiar with some engineering principles and design guidelines and the ability to comprehend mechanical and electrical systems.
* Make recommendations where to source parts based on customers urgency, when applicable.
* Process purchase orders from customers in accordance with department policies.
* Initiate customer contact when purchase order requires any commercial revisions.
* Coordinate processing of orders with Logistics Team regarding special instructions for shipping and expediting shipment from global warehouses as needed.
* Expedite delivery of orders for receipt at warehouse and shipment to customer, as required.
* Maintain electronic files with all parts-related correspondence, e.g. quotations, price calculations, customer correspondence, audit documents, etc.
* Monitor customer concerns, take appropriate action and inform Department Management as required.
* Assist with customer RMA's according to company policy.
Other duties may be assigned.


Travel
* Up to 10% Travel


Basic Requirements:
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* 2 years of related experience, in equipment/process systems business and /or customer service sales.

Great to Haves:
* Microsoft office knowledge
* Knowledge of related industry experience a plus.
* Familiar with software such as QAD, SAP, CRM applications is helpful.
* The ability to read and interpret documents such as procedures, and OM manuals is required. Write clear, concise routine correspondence.
* The ability to speak effectively with customers and employees of the company.
* Employee will interact with many customers and has a large impact of the quality-of-service customers will receive.
* Service oriented towards both internal and external customers is critical.
* Ability and willingness to work with a group of people and assess priorities.
* Knowledge of Spanish or German a plus.
